رصد محرر “شبوة برس” تغريدة للسيد علي الجفري، رئيس القيادة المحلية للمجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي بمحافظة حضرموت، أعلن فيها أن المليونية الجماهيرية الكبرى للاحتفال بالذكرى الـ55 لتأسيس الجيش الجنوبي، والمقرر إقامتها الثلاثاء الموافق 1 سبتمبر 2026م، في شارع قصر المحافظ بمنطقة 40 شقة، أمام قاعة الأندلس بمدينة المكلا، ستكون سلمية بالكامل.

وأكد الجفري أن أي قمع أو اعتداء أو محاولة لمنع الجماهير من ممارسة حقها في التجمع والتعبير السلمي يمثل تصعيدًا خطيرًا، محملًا السلطات المسؤولة كامل المسؤولية عن أي تداعيات أو عواقب قد تترتب على ذلك.

وأشار إلى أن سياسة المنع والملاحقات الأمنية ومحاولات تكميم الأفواه لن تنال من عزيمة أبناء الجنوب، ولن تثنيهم عن الدفاع عن حقوقهم ومواصلة مشروعهم الوطني، مضيفًا أن تجارب المراحل السابقة أثبتت أن أدوات القمع لا تصنع الاستسلام، بل تزيد من الصمود والإصرار.

وقال الجفري إن ما وصفه بـ”المد التحرري الجنوبي” في حضرموت وسائر محافظات الجنوب لن توقفه حملات القمع أو محاولات الالتفاف على إرادة الجماهير، مؤكدًا أن تضحيات أبناء الجنوب ستظل مصدر قوة حتى تحقيق تطلعاتهم الوطنية المشروعة.

وأرفق الجفري مقطع فيديو قال إنه يوثق قيام السلطات بمنع فعاليتين سلميتين دعا إليهما المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي في حضرموت، فيما لم يتمكن محرر “شبوة برس” من التحقق بشكل مستقل من صحة المقطع أو ملابسات الوقائع التي يوثقها.

“Shabwa Press” editor monitored a post by Ali Al-Jafri, head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout, in which he announced that the major mass rally marking the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Southern Army, scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, on Governor’s Palace Street in the 40-Apartment area, in front of Andalus Hall in Mukalla, will be entirely peaceful.

Al-Jafri stressed that any suppression, assault, or attempt to prevent people from exercising their right to peaceful assembly and expression would constitute a dangerous escalation, holding the authorities responsible fully accountable for any resulting consequences.

He said that bans, security crackdowns, and attempts to silence voices would not weaken the determination of the people of the South or deter them from defending their rights and pursuing their national project. He added that past experiences had demonstrated that repression does not produce surrender, but rather strengthens resilience and determination.

Al-Jafri said that what he described as the “Southern liberation movement” in Hadramout and other southern governorates would not be stopped by repression or attempts to circumvent the will of the public. He stressed that the sacrifices of the people of the South would remain a source of strength until their legitimate national aspirations are achieved.

Al-Jafri attached a video that he said documented the authorities preventing two peaceful events organized by the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout. “Shabwa Press” was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the video or the circumstances surrounding the incidents depicted.
